Relocation to a new place or other life changing factors may mean you have no choice but to give up your companion animal.

RESCUES to the Rescue!
Rescue organizations are made up of caring people who take the time to help save the lives of pets in need. Some will take any kind of animal, while others are breed specific. There are many rescue organizations willing to help.

If you have a specific breed, look up that breed + “rescue” on the internet. Rescues will almost always take your animal for free. The following is a partial list, so don’t get discouraged if you don’t see the breed you want to surrender.
