The Office of County Counsel provides legal services in civil matters to the Board of Supervisors, the Chief Executive Officer, appointed and elected Department Heads, as well as boards and commissions created by the Board. The County Counsel's Office represents the County in litigation and the preparation of ordinances, contracts, opinions and other legal documents.
