Early Season Goose Hunt: (October 1, 2011 – October 5, 2011)
- Both Modesto and Woodward Reservoirs will have a split-hunting season this year to allow hunting during the early season goose hunt, which is from October 1st through October 5th.
- The first day to place blinds will be September 15, 2011.
- Waterfowl blinds may be checked in or placed from September 15th through September 25th.
- Only blinds that are properly checked in and placed at the correct GPS coordinates prior to 12:00 pm on September 25th, will be allowed to hunt from October 1st – 5th during the Early Season Goose Hunt.
- No blinds may be checked in or placed during September 26th through October 5th.
Regular Waterfowl Season: (October 22, 2011 – January 29, 2012)
- Waterfowl blinds may be checked in or placed from September 15th through September 25th or from October 6th through October 14th.
- No blinds may be checked in or placed from September 26th through October 5th.
- The last day to place blinds for the regular waterfowl season will be October 14th.
CHECK-IN: Please call the reservoir where you will be placing your blind at least 48 hours in advance to make an appointment to check in your blind. Leave a message if no one is available to answer your call.
