  Has a low-income assistance program called MID CARES.

• Turlock Irrigation District - TID CARES Program

  has a low-income assistance program that offers a discount for qualified low-income residential electric customers. Get a complete description of the program.

• Pacific Gas & Electric

  CARE (California Alternate Rates for Energy) for Energy is Pacific Gas & Electric Company's discount program for low-income households and housing facilities. CARE provides a 20% discount on monthly Pacific Gas & Electric Company bills and ensures that its CARE customers are not affected by recent surcharges.
  
  REACH (Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help) is a one-time energy-assistance program sponsored by Pacific Gas and Electric Company and administered through the Salvation Army. REACH helps low-income customers - particularly the elderly, disabled, sick, working poor and the unemployed - who experience severe, uncontrollable or unplanned hardships and are unable to pay for their energy needs.
