Stanislaus County Building Department offers pre-constructions, pre-development and informational meetings for large projects.
|
The purpose and objectives of these meetings are:
- to provide our clients with useful information
- to verify a project is allowed
- to discuss issues each department may have with the project
- to insure the client is clear about the estimated cost for the entire project
- to avoid any surprises during the permit application process
- to save clients time and money
- also available prior to acquiring a use permit
These issues can be discussed with the applicant prior to the client investing excessive resources into the project, allowing the applicant to make the decision to continue or discontinue the project.
The Planning Commission does approve projects, however the client should still know the cost and issues that may arise when carrying out their projects.
