Vendor Announcement

Dear Stanislaus County Registered Vendor:

The Purchasing Division of Stanislaus County's General Services Agency (Purchasing) is proud to announce a new partnership with Public Purchase, a web based e-Procurement service which will replace BidsOnlineTM currently used by Purchasing. In order to begin or continue to receive bid notifications as a current vendor, you must register with this new system which will only take a few minutes. The two-step registration process is detailed below.

Purchasing will finalize the transition to Public Purchase effective at the close of business on February 4, 2013. Please register as soon as possible and no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 4, 2013 so that you have uninterrupted access to all Stanislaus County bid opportunities.

Why the Change?
Using this service will make the procurement process easier for Purchasing and all Stanislaus County suppliers. The Public Purchase eProcurement System was designed exclusively for use by government agencies and their vendors. These added efficiencies will provide a cost savings to our tax-paying community.

Benefits to Purchasing
This eProcurement system is compliant with all Federal and State regulations, which determine the required procedures for government agency purchasing practices. This service will also create an up-to-date vendor database hosted on Public Purchase's servers, and will allow suppliers to easily update and change their information as needed.

Benefits to You
This eProcurement system creates a single location from which to view open requests for bid opportunities and award information for bids and RFP's issued through the Public Purchase website. This system will also provide you with automatic notification and transmittal of bid solicitations to vendors, and give you access to bid opportunities with other governmental entities.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Purchasing at (209) 525-6319. You may also contact Public Purchase via email at moc.esahcrupcilbup@troppus, or through the Live Chat feature of the Public Purchase website (see www.publicpurchase.com, upper left corner) during business hours.
